The developers of this 250-acre parcel in a rural area wanted a series of house models built for sale to fit
diverse living styles. The subdivision of 237 units (detached and attached) is a “planned unit development,”
meaning it has large areas in common and relatively small lots. To achieve a unified identity and allow for
economical and efficient construction, the design uses a modular system and stock construction elements.
