Histogenetics - Ossining, New York
Histogenetics, a medical research firm, wanted to remodel their 1950's three story office building.
The architect suggested a staged technical and green upgrade process, allowing Histogenetics to remain
in operation under construction. The design package included syphonic passive cooling, added insulation,
and a system of external plenums that housed solar shades, service walkways, electrical raceways, and ductwork.
An inexpensive system of timber supports the new outer wall.
