This project redevelops an existing state park which was underutilized for many years due to a lack of maintenance. The project seeks to create sustainable recreational areas along the beaches, preserve wetlands and marsh areas, and adapt the park to the existing landfill. The built structures include a bathhouse, containing a restaurant and changing, toilet, first aid, and storage facilities; an administrative building which houses repair, maintenance, and administrative functions; as well as pavilions, boardwalks, and covered lookouts.
